Recruiting. And nothing takes the place of winning. When LSU played for NC in 2007 and 2011 the media attention was huge. The kids being recruited today were 12 years old and probably they were glued to the TV. The 2007 title the kids were only 8 years old. So we have got all the mileage we are going to get out of those championships. We have not been on any big stage in 6 years. No SEC championship game. No big bowl games. No signature wins. Every year we go without playing and winning a signature game it gets a tad harder. If LSU had won anything close to what Bama has in recent years and their would be no debating of where Allen or Moses goes to school. Since 2011 Miles program declined and it was about to go off the cliff until the change was made. If the team had not played as well as it did after Orgeron was hired it would really be a bag of horse shit.
