  • Thinks if they keep playing the way they have been, they can get to the CWS.
  • Calls Tommys Grand slam the biggest AB of the season.
  • Doesn’t think there’s a debate whether they’re a top-15 team or not. Says there is no excuse to not put them in.
  • Says they swept this weekend because of how well they pitched.
Hayden Travinski
  • Said it was a good last day. He and Alex have been here five years and had a lot of emotions.
  • Thinks the pitching staff is better when Alex is behind the plate.
  • Thinks this teams in “the best spot they could be” heading into the SEC tournament.
  • Think the offense has been able to slow down and be more comfortable at the plate recently, especially with two outs.
Tommy White
  • Said he knew that grand slam was gone. Felt he put a good swing on it.
  • Said he was waiting for a fastball down the middle and he got it.
  • Will know more ab his future after the season is over. Just focused on playoff baseball.
  • Said this weekend was awesome. Coach told them they needed a sweep, and the guys responded.
  • Thinks they’re in a great spot going into the SEC tournament. They all want to keep playing, and they’re playing like it.
  • Says this team wanted to go out there and have fun and let the results come this weekend. Feels it’s helped them play better.
  • Says having Alex Milazzo behind the plate helps the pitchers so much. He takes a beating every day but he helps keep the pitchers calm.

LSU BASKETBALL LSU WBB to face Seton Hall in Basketball HOF Showcase

LSU will play Seton Hall on December 17 in the 11th annual Basketball Hall of Fame Women’s Showcase which will be played at Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Connecticut.

Mohegan Sun Arena is a one-hour drive from the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame where Coach Kim Mulkey was inducted as part of the Class of 2020 and where assistant coach Seimone Augustus will be inducted later this year in October. This will mark the second season in a row in which the Tigers play in a Hall of Fame event after competing in the Hall of Fame Series Las Vegas to open last season against Colorado.

“We are really excited to bring LSU to the Mohegan Sun to play Seton Hall in December,” Coach Mulkey said. “We have participated in Hall of Fame events before and are looking forward to do so once again.”
