With Inexperience and depth issues w/ new players playing LB that have never played the position my biggest concern is:
How will the guys like Key, Bower, etc. play in space. With every defensive scheme comes a strength and a weakness. While I don't claim to be an OC, I would think the new LSU defensive scheme and inexperienced LB's will be tested early and often trying to stop the short passing game to TE's and RB's. I can see Thompson if he wins one of the outside LB spots being good in coverage. I don't see Key being as good. But I can't imagine LSU would ask him to cover when his biggest asset is rushing the passer. So playing in space is a concern and the over-all lack of LB's.
