bryan's good article describing the DT breakdown raises concerns about DT depth.IMO the DL,will be better in '15 than in '14.

1. Coach Orgeron . Will breathe fire into the entire unit. Sometimes a fresh approach is needed. . He's the No.1 reason that the DL,will ,be improved.

2. DT. Despite the loss of the 2 freshmen DTs this will be a much improved position. Godchaux will be a Soph after starting for the entire '14 season . The biggest improvement always occurs between the Fr and So year. Lacoutre will be a solid veteran . LSU DT uses a 3 man rotation . We only need to find that 3rd guy between Thomas , Herron and Gilmore. All 3 don't need to be good , only one. This 2015 version will be markedly better than '14.

3. DE. The loss of Rasco and Hunter hurt . But Rasco was injured much of the season yet did his best to play through injuries. Hunter was 1st team All-Airport team but his production didn't match his potential. A 3 man rotation will come from Bower, Clark , Neal and Bain. No All-SEC candidates in this group for sure. Admittedly there may be a drop off here. But maybe not.

Conclusion: better coaching and DT . Slight dropoff at DE . = better DL in 2015 .
