Pitching.You can think of several stellar guys over 20 years.But other than Ben Mcdonald,I can't think of any Lsu
pitchers that made it that great in the big Leagues.We beat a lot of guys that went on to be great pitchers-
but in general Lsu has always won with great Hitting.Maineri(including this year) has had about as much pitching
depth this year as Skip did in most of his.And Skip probably didn't have many teams that had a .322 batting average.And I know for a fact that he never had as much team speed as this one.Sure Skip had gorilla ball,
but this team is way more equipped to win in todays game with speed,good contact hitting,and a good defense.
if this staff can just slow down the walks,they have enough to win it all.
