a while back Dom Capers , the Green Bay DC , was asked what he would do if he was starting out to develop the best defense in football. His answer ....I would find the best 2 DTs possible then go from there. He went on to say that those dictate everything . He said that there has never been a great defense at any level without 2 outstanding DTs .
With Marvin Wilson , the No.1 DT in the 2017 class making his 3rd visit to Tiger town from Texas, and the No.2 DT Tyler Shelvin already committed plus the expected bonanza of DTs expected to sign inthe 2016 class the future for the defense is bright if one can put any credence on what Capers had to say. It's almost to the point that LSU will have to turn down 4-5 * DTs simply because you can only take so many at one
time.
