Welcome to The Situation Room

What is the Situation Room? For any first time readers of the series, The Situation Room, not unlike the one in the White House is an intelligence management room. A place where you can come get the latest inside scoop on LSU news and recruiting information.

It’s our version of a popular series across the Rivals network. A lot of sites that do these types of reports call them “War Room”.

With that said, lets gets right to it.
Junior Day Visits

Kenny will have more on this later, but LSU is hosting several top prospects this weekend for a junior day including some of the top prospects in Louisiana.

One of the top prospects from the state of Louisiana in 2025 is Jaboree Antoine and he will be on campus this weekend. Antoine is an absolute priority for this LSU staff and getting him on campus and spending time with Corey Raymond is a big deal. Texas has been pushing hard for Antoine's services and the talented DB is fresh off a recent visit to Texas. Another school surging as of late is Georgia as the Bulldogs made a strong impression during a game day visit to Athens during the season. LSU is in great shape here, but don't count out Texas and Georgia down the stretch.

LSU will have an ace recruiter on hand in Keylan Moses who will be on hand and certainly in the ear of all the uncommitted prospects in attendance.

Shreveport (LA) Captain Shreve four-star offensive tackle is expected to make another trip to Baton Rouge this weekend. The Tigers have already made a big impression on the Louisiana standout and are considered the team to beat at this point in time. LSU continues to make the Shreveport product a priority for the class of 2025.

Pearland (TX) Shadow Creek four-star WR Jacorey Watson is expected to make a return trip to Baton Rouge. He was on hand over the summer for LSU's Bayou Splash event. Texas is another major player here and by all indications are the team to beat as it currently stands, but LSU certainly has an opportunity to shift that momentum with a big junior day visit this weekend.

Buford (GA) four-star offensive tackle Brayden Jacobs is expected to make the trip over to Baton Rouge for LSU's junior day. Jacobs recently visited Clemson for their junior day. He's also visited Auburn a handful of times; LSU may have some ground to make up here but getting him in town for a junior day could go a long way in making that happen.

One of the most talented prospects in the 2026 class Blaine Bradford is almost destined to be a five-star out of the class of 2026 and will be one of LSU's top targets for the 2026 cycle. The Tigers getting him on campus for their junior day and around these other committed prospects is a big deal. He'll be joined by his brother and 2025 DB prospect Jacob Bradford.

Another Baton Rouge product that is expected to be on hand is University Lab's Lamar Brown. Brown is listed as a defensive tackle but could potentially play on either side of the ball as he plays DT and OT for University Lab. He's a priority target for LSU in 2026 and is drawing interest from teams all over the country.

Another 2026 prospect that plays his high school ball just mere minutes from Tiger Stadium is Brysten Martinez. The Gonzales (LA) product is currently ranked as one of the best prospects in the class of 2026 currently sitting at No. 63

Other notable names expected
