Another big week at the LSU facilities kicking off Wednesday throughout the entire weekend. Wednesday will have several top prospects on campus for the Tigers' Elite Camp (which I will be there for) and this weekend will feature a handful more OVs from highly-sought wide receiver Bryant Wesco and Duncanville defensive lineman Alex January.
LSU tight end commitment Tayvion Galloway is arriving on campus Tuesday and staying throughout the week. He'll be coming in with a group of players from around Ohio. Expecting many of them to compete at Wednesday's camp.
A few other recruits I'll be watching Wednesday: 2025 quarterbacks Keelon Russell and Deuce Knight -- both of whom already have multiple offers to their names. Russell is the QB at Duncanville in Texas which is a big target school for LSU and Knight, already a four-star, plays in Mississippi, closer to Mobile than Baton Rouge after looking on a map.
Another name I'm intrigued to see, Myles Johnson, a 2025 athlete who just competed at Alabama and earned his first Power 5 offer from the Crimson Tide.
Wednesday will have plenty more players on hand and I'll report back after that camp. I also expect a few unofficial visitors this weekend to go along with the OVs but we'll just have to wait and see who shows.
Also hearing that local safety Joel Rogers is close to making a decision. He has an OV set for Alabama this weekend but all signs continue to point to LSU keeping him home. I have my FutureCast in on him to LSU and I'm very confident in that pick.
Lastly, running back Tre Bradford is back on LSU's online roster, as first reported by The Advocate. It's his third time being added to the roster. To recap, he signed with LSU in 2020 then briefly transferred to Oklahoma then returned to the Tigers for the 2021 season. Last fall, Brian Kelly said: "Tre has been separated from the university," and he was not with the team in 2022.
Now, he's back on LSU's roster. Not sure what that means yet to LSU's RB room or if Bradford is even fully cleared. This all just came to light last night/this morning. However, Bradford is the 2nd RB LSU has added is offseason as the Tigers signed Notre Dame transfer and Louisiana native Logan Diggs last month.
