after only one game ( a very small sample) and it was the opener there are still a few things that we all learned and did not learn.
What we learned :
..Coach O isn't afraid to bench key players at the risk of losing a game
Coach O isn't afraid to play true Freshmen although he may have been forced to do so.
Coach O appears to be letting the coaches coach. No headphones for O
The WR group may be better than expected . No drops , good separation , crisp routes
Danny Etling has made a full,recovery and has grasped the offense quickly
All the hype about Darrell Williams is legit
Aranda can flat out coach in case we had any doubts . Even young players
The front 7 minus Key and Alexander and Herron will be stout vs the run even though it's was only BYU
Chaisson is getting the PT ahead of Thornton
Greedy Williams is for real
Vincent is an SEC player
The RED zone offense needs to clean things up . And the will
The penalties are 1 st game jitters and will get cleaned up as well
What we still don't know :
Can we run the ball vs an SEC defense . Won't know until Miss St and Fla
Is that the passing attack that we'll see or was Canada playing vanilla
Is PK Jack Gonshlin going to be steady enough . Only had one hiccup
