Just a little rant, y'all.

The thing with LSU is that teams now know how to slow down our offense. It's a given that LSU cannot run the ball. Not much any team has to do to stop it. Our OL is as weak as undigested food that exits the body through a small opening in the back (trying not to use profanity) and they cannot push anyone out of the way. Our opponent's DL is in the backfield before our RB has the ball. A&M showed that Nuss can be rattled under pressure and can be forced to make bad plays. Alabama took A&M's second-half formula and used it the entire game. Our OL and DL was thrown around like rag dolls in a dog park. How do you tell someone "You're my bi+ch" without saying it? Put Bama's DL on LSU OL AND Bama's OL on LSU DL. I can't be sure, but I think Jalen Milroe shouted this on every TD run he had as he passed the D-line. We can't impose our will on anyone.

I know some dont think S&C has anything to do with it. Hell if it doesn't. Yeah, I'm back on that tip. Got a lot of push back for this after the A&M game. So I tried to watch the line play thinking "maybe, I'm missing something." Nope! Jake Flint got these boys on a friggin' candy cane diet...doing curls using donuts as dumbbells.! They didn't look athletic, they're weak (see above), pushed back, stood up, moved out of the way, and they wiffed on speed rushes like they are as slow as molasses moving up hill in January. Brad Davis needs to be careful also. I saw him getting his arse chewed out last night too.

Yeah you can say its personnel, talent, still rebuilding Orgeron's mess, Kelly trying to fix his poor coaching hires, portal misses ... all of the above and youre right. Its all of that. Alabama 2024 is not Saban's Alabama of old. Their OL and DL is not the same caliber. How can every other team stop Milroe and we can't? You can't make this up!

Either we knew what Alabama was and we LET 'EM OFF THE HOOK or we are realizing today that we've been thinking we are more than what we truly are.

...that is all!

LSU FOOTBALL LSU vs Alabama Post Game Presser Notes

  • Takes ownership for not getting his guys in positions to succeed. Thinks they missed a lot of opportunities to change the game.
  • Said the coaches all need to be better moving forward.
  • Said 'If you're watching the game, you're like 'what have these guys been doing for two weeks?'
  • They need to be able to get their guys in positions to succeed. They don't have anyone else they can bring in, they just need to find where to play everyone so they can succeed. Says his guys were ready, but they just didn't put them in the right spots tonight.
  • Says they did not play to LSU standard, and that's more disappointing to them than being eliminated from the playoffs.
  • They have six turnovers in the last two games. Says if you told him before the games they'd do that against A&M and Alabama, he wouldn't like his chances.
  • Reiterated multiple times that they did not play to LSU's standard and he needs to be better at getting his guys in positions to succeed.
  • Thinks Nussmeier is "getting there." Says the run game hasn't done him many favors, especially when they get into the red zone.
  • Says he's seen that second interception so many times in his career. It was a linebacker who dropped and you need to throw a perfect ball with touch, but it gets picked off often.
  • Not advocating for people to throw stuff on the field, but says he would not be happy if he was in the stands watching.
  • Says they can't overcome all the things that went wrong tonight. They were able to against SC, but not against Alabama.
