Transfer portal running back Noah Cain, who committed to LSU, will be visiting campus this weekend, I’m told. The plan for Cain is to finish out the semester at Penn State and officially join the Tigers in June.
With in-state five-star Jacoby Mathews in town this weekend for a visit, the Tigers will roll out the red carpet for him to show the state’s No. 1 player how much they want to keep him home. And just for an added comfort level, I’m told that LSU signees Jordan Allen, Laterrance Welch and Landon Ibieta plan to be around campus this weekend to help with Mathews. They all played together for years on the Louisiana Bootleggers 7on7 team.
Lastly, a very large group of underclass men from the West Coast will be visiting Sunday. I’ll have more on that tomorrow.
