Jordan Anthony entered the transfer portal Saturday “due to family health issues.”

That sucks, wish we could have had a shot at him. I can't imagine that bidding war.

After Mike Denbrock was announced as the new OC for Notre Dame, LSU says Joe Sloan and Cortez Hankton will be co-offensive coordinators for LSU’s bowl game.

Sloan served as LA Tech’s OC from 2020-2021 while Hankton’s served as a WR coach (2012-present) and passing game coordinator (2022-23) in his career.

LSU OC Mike Denbrock has officially accepted the vacant OC job at Notre Dame.

Denbrock just led LSU to the No. 1 offense in the nation in 2023. This will be Denbrock’s third stint with the Irish.

I'm heading out to Katy High School today for Class of 2024 three-star offensive guard Coen Echols' commitment announcement. The former Texas A&M pledge took an official to LSU last weekend. He is down to those two programs and Auburn, which looks to be in the lead for Echols with three FutureCasts, including one from Jefferson Powell.

Auburn recruiting analyst Landyn Rosow flipped his FutureCast from Auburn to LSU on Wednesday. Echols told me I can talk with him before his commitment, so I hope to have a little more information then before his announcement. I'll thread updates here.

I give it a solid B. We get Coen and it’s a B+. Add McKinley and it’s an A- . Add Bussey and it’s an A+.

As it stands now we need another impact DLineman and a true immediate impact player in the secondary.

Am I the only one that finds it curious and hopeful that neither are in the portal.

Go get Durkin as DC and call it a day.
