It was a big day for JuJuan Johnson, who was the last LSU commit to sign today for the Class of 2024. He will now join Kylan Billiot, Kolaj Cobbins, Tre'Dez Green and Davon Keys in San Antonio next month.

Class of 2026 cornerback Jamarrion Gordon visited LSU for the Texas A&M game, receiving an offer then. He’s now set to announce his commitment on Christmas Day.

I wonder if we are not underrating the player we have here. I know there has been some discussion of his completion percentage being around and the feeling that it is too low. This has seemed to cause reservations by some of you. But even Burrow and Daniel had lower percentages before LSU and both even got better their 2nd year.

What I like about Hurley is the kid is so smart and he is an excellent leader. He plays all the sports, yet he is graduating a year early and carrying a 4.0 GPA, He has to be a really smart kid to do all that.he is also an excellent athlete who can make all the throws. When he enrolls at LSU in January he will still be only 16 years old. Most people think he is too young and should stay in HS to improve his accuracy. I would rather he was at LSU being coached by someone like Sloan. I think mature for his age and is going to great player and a credit to LSU.
