-- With Garrett Dellinger still out, Miles Frazier will be at left guard and Anthony Bradford will be at right guard. Kelly called it the best model they have while Dellinger is out.

-- Look for Joe Foucha to be used a lot more against Florida and playing close to the box

-- Major Burns, who has been on scout team, is on track to be back likely around Alabama game and the same for Armoni Goodwin, who could potentially be ready for Ole Miss. Sevyn Banks is a ways away.

RECRUITING Keep an eye on...

2024 edge/OLB Sterling Dixon visited LSU again this past weekend and according to a few sources it all went really well for the Tigers. There's a chance the four-star returns back to Baton Rouge this season to catch another game.

Dixon put a countdown clock on his Instagram signaling his commitment date of Dec. 1. All things point towards LSU being the leader at this point but he's an Alabama recruit and holds offers from both Bama and Auburn so we'll see how it plays out. Interviewing him soon though.

The latest from Tausili Akana..

Here's the latest from Tausili Akana following his visit to LSU last weekend. Oklahoma will get a visit from him this weekend.

"Staff covered everything from nutrition, developing me as a player, academics and weight training. Got to see a live game and participate in pregame activities. Great atmosphere and fan support. Really impressed with the visit.

"Coaches see me playing in the Jack position. I would play opposite of the DE. Most times putting pressure on the QB and dropping into coverage. They also see me playing the Mike position (middle linebacker) at times depending on down and situation. They feel I can come in and contribute immediately. They love my length, athleticism, speed and how physical I play the game. My family and I enjoyed our time in Baton Rouge, La."
