Sean Williams, national recruiting analyst here. Was at Arion Carter's game tonight and he told me he is coming to LSU this weekend for an official visit with the Tigers. I did a video interview with him after his game and we should have that posted pretty soon. Carter also has officials planned with Tennessee, Ohio State, and Alabama throughout October and November.

— Kelly says LSU will get creative with Harold Perkins this weekend, adding: “He’s a guy coach House and I feel needs to be on the field.” … Says we’ll see Perkins snap count continue to go up.

— RB Armoni Goodwin practiced all week and will play vs the Rebels

— Says a big part of slowing down Ole Miss will be how LSU tackles on the perimeter

I recently joined Rivals because Julie seems to be scooping everybody with predictions. Haha This is my first post.

On3 recently updated their 2024 player rankings. It has only 4 kids in the top 300, which is pretty consistent with Rivals and 247. That would make it worst Louisiana class I have ever seen. I was hoping we would see more kids make the jump in their junior season, but that didn't happen.
Looks like LSU will be going regional/national again.. I'd love to know who LSU is targeting out of state at RB, WR, OL, DT, and LB.

We are going to be a different animal next year. The additions from the portal appear to strengthen the defense and the offense is going to be a gauntlet for any pitcher. We have speed. If our pitching matures we will be tough. #34 Shores at 6’8” 250# as a Freshman is a grown man throwing. Not the same team at all compared to last year. If the young bucks come on…veterans better be ready. Omaha this year, Natty in the next 3.

I am coming up with nada on OM OL, but they have been running on everyone they play. Is it the OL, RBs, QB? What is making them so good? And don't say Lane. Yes, he sees that is their strength, but what is it that he sees?

I put in a FutureCast for DJ Chester back in July and despite a recent offer from Clemson and pushes from other programs after him too, I’m doubling down on my pick for the LSU Tigers.

The four-star has previously said he was waiting to announce in January at the All American bowl but I still find it difficult to believe he waits that long. Recruits always say they’re waiting til this date or that date and they change their minds and announce earlier. So we’ll see how long he truly waits.

If he lands with LSU like I believe he will, it’s one heck of an OL class for Brad Davis. Putting Will Campbell, Emery Jones, eventually Fitzgerald West at center, along with guys like Lance Heard, Tyree Adams then Chester is setting up the OL nicely for the next few years. Plus Paul Mubenga in this class too and Bo Bordelon got some praise from BK a few months ago.

I'm back from my weekend off with the family.

Show of hands who was surprised by Jayden Daniels' performance? 🖐 Like, where did that come from? Insanely impressive for sure. Perhaps it finally clicked for him or was just taking longer than needed to feel comfortable or trust WRs. IF he plays like THAT for the rest of the season, LSU is capable of winning most (or all) the remainder of the way.

That being said, any LSU team or recruiting questions this week y'all want answered?
