RECRUITING Scout’s Take: NFL scout breaks down four-star DT commit Zion Williams

Another new feature here on the site. I leveraged some of my NFL connections to help bring you guys a new feature and a few of my current NFL contacts agreed to contribute and provide some quick analysis and scouting reports on LSU players and commits from time to time, with the promise that their contributions would remain anonymous.

This is not from your favorite former NFL scout Daniel Kelly. These new features come from current and active NFL Scouts, therefore they will be anonymous contributions to help protect them and their respective employers given the nature of their business.

Up first is a Scout’s Take on Rivals four-star DT commit Zion Williams.

Let me know what you guys think about this new feature, if you guys really enjoy it we’ll keep them coming and could potentially expand it to other sports if I can get some of my other contacts in MLB and or NBA to agree to similar stipulations.

RECRUITING Nike $$$ Wins

Everyone talks about Texas, but Chevy is right. If a players main desire is NIL deal and Oregon wants him….no one will outbid them. Most coaches, donors, etc have a limit where they will say no more…at present Oregon and Nike have not found that number.
At the end of the day, it was all about money for Moore. No matter what Kelly and Company did, they would never win that bidding war. Hell, Texas couldn’t and he’s a Texas kid.
