One of the biggest storylines in Louisiana is Rivals' No. 1 OC Sedrick Van Pran out of Warren Easton signing with UGA on Wednesday

Van Pran did not sign in December and it was a coincidence that lead recruiter Sam Pittman just accepted the head job at Arkansas at the time

Since then, Van Pran has taken OV to UGA, UF and Bama, and over the weekend a source familiar with the situation indicated Alabama emerged as a real threat for Van Pran

As of Monday, I fully expect SVP to stick with UGA

One note: LSU has been dialing up the pressure on SVP in recent days. NOLA recruiter Mickey Joseph has consistently been at Easton and checking in with Van Pran. I am told Ed Orgeron is planning to get on the phone with Van Pran later Monday afternoon to discuss LSU, especially as the Tigers look to replace Lloyd Cushenberry in the middle of their OL

I do not foresee Van Pran flipping to LSU, but the push will continue into Wednesday as Coach O looks to pull off some NSD drama
