RECRUITING Class of 2025 targets posting 'You're Next' graphics

As previously noted, it's that time to start turning the page to monitor Class of 2025 recruits more closely. I'll thread some of the current targets' posts of the "You're Next" graphics, which other programs across the country are also sending out. This will likely just be a point of reference for myself, but I hope you guys find it helpful when looking for who to keep eyes on in the next cycle.

RECRUITING Jaden Hamlin commits to Louisiana-Monroe

There was a lot of steam behind Jaden Hamlin to LSU in late November after a visit for the Texas A&M game, but it ended up slowing down with time. I talked briefly with Hamlin then, but he stopped responding. He started reposting Louisiana-Monroe commitments the last few days, making me believe his was next. The four-star JUCO defensive tackle is not going Power Five.

12/20 Brian Kelly National Signing Day Press Conference

- Says 14 will enroll in January. They will be alot more comfortable with being at college when they start in the summer. They have brought in 64 freshman into this program. This year they brought in two transfers. Great balance at offense and defense. There focus is on the state of Louisiana, players that want to play for championships.

- Says he agrees that there is loyalty, growing up and passion. When he was in the midwest they wanted to be a buckeye. It's clear that it is like that in the state of Louisiana and they recognize that.

- Says junior college player, he really sat down with him before the transfer portal got busy. They feel good about retention but that is where they are at in the transfer portal.

- Says Dashwan Mcbryde brings length and athleticism, first student athlete that has graduated from denham springs early. He is everything they are looking for and brings everything they need at the safety position.

- Says toughness, versatility and the ability to develop and all these young men still are developing and he wants to watch them grow and develop. They will get bigger, faster and stronger but they have some elite players.

- Rogers at the safety position is a great athlete. Played with a shoulder injury. He is a great student athlete. Green is just starting to show what he can do as a football player. His jump in one year from understanding the game of football was the fastest he has seen somebody learn the game.

- Feels good about the cornerback position moving forward. Sage ryan is coming back but we have freshman coming in and we are stabilizing a position that was not stabilized in the last couple of years. We did not jump into the portal because we want to develop these young players.

- He told them all to come in with a mindset with wanting to compete. Mentally you have to be prepared. The biggest challenge is if they will be ready to compete. Every year he has been year guys are jumping in wanting to compete and ready to play.

- Feels really good that they have light feet and can move their feet at the o-line position. They have to have a really good football IQ. A Lot of these boys play basketball which is a good trait because these boys can move up and down the court.

- Says a guy that keeps jumping out to his attention is Ju'juan Johnson. He is playing a position and then maybe he can play this position but he can play anywhere. He is remarkable to watch. He has done some things in the state of Louisiana that have not been done.
