Schmidt got the start, and gave up 1 run in 2.2 innings.

Cooper Williams had another good outing, throwing 2 innings of shut out ball, with only 1 hit and 2 walks allowed. Mavrik Rizy also had a good night, throwing 1.1 shut out innings, while only allowing 1 hit.
Schmidt, Williams, and Rizy appear to be poised for a chance of some weekend action. Williams ERA is 0.00 after 8 innings this year, giving up only 3 hits and a .105 batting average. He looks to provide LSU with another lefty option down the stretch.
