RECRUITING Question: Julie I'm interested.

For weeks we were told LSU was the leader for Ricks, even up to the day before he signed the national pundits had Ricks to LSU, some had him as a lock. At least one Rivals had Ricks 100% to LSU. So what made the worm turn? I smell a rat. What's even worse , or more suspicious, is Alabama turning a player from Iowa ,who was committed for months at the last minute. Something gives , I'm curious what it is.

RECRUITING My late night thoughts…

I needed a few hours to make calls, put feelers out and do the mom thing after a long but successful day for LSU.

But I’ll cut to the chase without sugarcoating it: I’ve flipped my Desmond Ricks FutureCast to Alabama.

That’s where I’m at tonight. None of my LSU sources are feeling good tonight and I think when he announces tomorrow afternoon it will be in favor of Nick Saban.

It sounded like up until some point today, LSU was slightly ahead. The phone calls kept happening. Conversations kept flowing. And from all I’ve gathered it sounded like he made a business decision.

The Tigers will look to pull another CB or two from the portal and would anticipate Denver Harris being one.

RECRUITING Nykoles Harbor

I know we're very unlikely to get him but can we take a moment to just appreciate what a physical freak this cat is? He reminds me of some of those UGA DE's & LB's 10 and 15 years ago.

Look at how much bigger he is than everyone else in the picture... he ran a 10.29 100-meter - if I remember correctly Warrick Dunn ran it in 10.5 or maybe 10.4 when he was in high school and was half this kid's size.
