RECRUITING LSU making a push for two speedsters

LSU is in the middle of a busy OV weekend which includes hosting Texas WR Jelani Watkins, who has ties to Louisiana, along with Texas RB Caden Durham, who is spending all weekend on campus as an unofficial. Meaning LSU will try to get him in for an OV during the fall. Both of these Texas speedsters also hold offers from the LSU track program.

It seems that the Tigers have led behind the scenes for Watkins for a bit now and everything I’ve heard leads me to believe he picks the Tigers when he’s ready to announce. I put in a new FutureCast on him to LSU.

Back to Durham, who just visited Oklahoma last weekend. All the momentum after that visit pointed to the Sooners, but an interesting note to keep an eye on. The Sooners are looking for a 1-2 combo at RB of Durham and Taylor Tatum, whilst Frank Wilson has been 100 percent clear with Durham that he is the ONLY back they want in this class. We’ll see what happens with him later this fall.

LSU BASEBALL I've never played baseball competitively - can someone explain to me...

...how it's possible for anyone out of high-school, much less a kid good enough to be recruited and play for an elite baseball program, how it's possible that they throw 10 or more balls in a row? How is it possible that you can stand on the mound, KNOW you can't walk the next guy and then walk him anyway? Balls I get, but walking the bases loaded or - even worse - walking in a run, how does that happen? I'm genuinely curious.

Full Q&A with LSU QB Jayden Daniels at the Manning Passing Academy

Both JD and Nuss are counselors representing LSU at the four-day camp held at Nicholls State. Today was the media session. Only starting QBs spoke which is why you won't see anything from Nuss. Another small note, Daniels said he played last season weighing 195 and he's currently at 206. He's looking to add a few more pounds for Week 1 against FSU.
