Just a quick update. New cadets headed out to Jack's Valley yesterday. Spoke to him for the first time since he reported in June. All is well and he hit a HR in the intra-squad scrimmage the other day!!

Looks like BK gonna have a bigger war chest ASAP. LSU will be using NIL to secure the HS players, according to the article, and with what we have been seeing with LSU and BK with the fall signing period. Last year LSU secured Dominik McKinley late.

With this move, I'm expecting LSU to do well down the stretch with the 2025 class.

William Schmidt, Perfect Game's No. 6 high school recruit, will forgo the MLB Draft and will come to LSU. This is a huge get for the Tigers. Schmidt is from Baton Rouge and is the No. 1 RHP in the 2025 class. He'll certainly be in contention to pitch this year.

Konnor Griffin, the top recruit in the 2024 class, has been selected by the Pirates in the first round of the MLB Draft. Still awaiting word on if he'll sign, but it's certainly a long shot, but the expectation has always been that he wouldn't make it to campus.
