LSU BASKETBALL LSU WBB to face Seton Hall in Basketball HOF Showcase

From LSU WBB Press Release:

LSU will play Seton Hall on December 17 in the 11th annual Basketball Hall of Fame Women’s Showcase which will be played at Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Connecticut.

Mohegan Sun Arena is a one-hour drive from the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame where Coach Kim Mulkey was inducted as part of the Class of 2020 and where assistant coach Seimone Augustus will be inducted later this year in October. This will mark the second season in a row in which the Tigers play in a Hall of Fame event after competing in the Hall of Fame Series Las Vegas to open last season against Colorado.

“We are really excited to bring LSU to the Mohegan Sun to play Seton Hall in December,” Coach Mulkey said. “We have participated in Hall of Fame events before and are looking forward to do so once again.”

LSU BASEBALL Where things stand 6.0

Gents, we lost to Vitello and his dumbassery but we are a lock for a high 2-seed. God be with the host of that regional. We comin' in with Holman, Jump, and guns blazing. Cardiac Tigers gave it a shot in the 9th but came up a run short. At least Omaha still means Ole Miss at home again.

Tech lost to Dallas Baptist but they are a 2-seed lock. Hats off the Grambling and Tulane for capturing spots. Hats off to Lafayette and Nicholls who were already in. This makes it (6) Louisiana schools in. Below is where we stand going into the selection show. Only question for Tiger Nation is in what regional do we land?

LSU BASEBALL What is Coach Jay Johnson doing differently now?

I follow LSU baseball very closely and have my entire adult life. It's very rare that I miss a single game on the radio or TV, BUT I don't think I've ever listened to or watched an entire non-LSU baseball game even once in my life, so I would certainly not consider myself any sort of expert on baseball. This question is for those obviously more knowledgable than I.

What is coach Jay Johnson doing differently now than he was a month ago? Less than a month ago there was a good deal of discussion on this board about how CJJ should be on the hotseat, that he was a fraud, that he was over-rated and only won because he got lucky in the transfer portal, etc. It's been well established that any discussion of brutal schedules, bad luck, injuries, poor individual play and all those other things which can dramatically affect the outcome of a season are just excuses... if a team is losing it's 100% on the head coach. Always. As such, it stands to reason that if a team is winning it must be 100% on the head coach as well.

So what did CJJ change? Does anyone have any idea what he is doing differently now than he was a month ago? It must have been something pretty dramatic for there to be such a turnaround and, whatever it was, I completely missed it.
