Actually staying home

- Says she challenged her team to be more physical. If a screen was set there was an assignment. On the defensive end it was not polished but they got after it.

- Says what you saw out there tonight none of them really have been on the floor together. She says you saw happiness you saw roles that have changed a little bit. Van lith and Johnson were heroes of the night.

- Hailey is learning a new position. She is so used to scoring but tonight she played the guard. Flau'jae came in as a freshman thinking if she did not score she had a bad night. Now she knows it is about her all around game.

- Says Aneesah had to guard Kitley tonight. Morrow moved quick and thinks her ability to move creates a lot of steals for us.

- Our crowd was excellent. She was worried they would stay home and be lazy. Media is here and it speaks volume.

- Angel is one of the best players Kim has coached. Angel is Angel but what she saw tonight it was special.

- Says this is what she wanted to see. Knew it was not a polish product but she saw fight, everyone feeds off of each other and emotion. She saw alot of it tonight.

- Morrow and Reese play good off of each other. Those two in the ball game are good. You want to win and they will get better and better at passing high lows to each other. Morrow can open up a high low pass. Morrow also has the three point shot. Morrow is strong off of the dribble.

- Angels performance was good and how she handled herself. Proud of how she treated everyone and she is comfortable. There is nothing but positive but after the game they had a long talk and it was from Kims heart.

- Says Angel was not trying to talk about mental health. They all need breaks. They will take three days off because of finals. Mental health is talked about in our society and it is new to a lot of coaches and that is why we have the coaches to help when needed.

-Says Mikaylah Williams added talent to this program. She is going to make mistakes because she is a freshman but there are so many parts of her game that she has no idea how good she is.

- Says any win is a nice shot in the arm. Having Angel back is a nice shot in the arm. Tonight was good.

- Says Shaq has a relationship with Angel and he loves LSU and anybody who loves this place will help everybody. Shaq is an icon and a great ambassador for all of us. He was awesome for Angel.

- Says she did not know all of the videos were going to happen and it is touching and some of those people she has not seen since she coached them. Tells them it is the greatest years in life being in college. When you coach that long not everyone will send glowing messages but you worry about sending them with a degree. That is so important to Kim, getting a degree.

We all know the comparisons and similarities between the two, uncanny similarity. But fortune fits in, and Brady was indeed fortunate in so many ways. He was drafted in the 6th round, to a not bad team, big starting advantage, compared to Burrow who, due to his draft status, ended up with a horrible team that put him at, at least, a two year disadvantage in building a long term record. Perhaps the biggest factor however, is/was their division competion. Brady division competitors endured the worst overall record in NFL history for years; the Bills, Jets, and Dolphins were just dreadful for most of the 15 years overlap with Brady, resulting not only in an auto-bid to the playoffs every year, but a nicely padded record to assist in the playoff pecking order. Burrow is having to endure the best division in football, which may remain that way for quite awhile. I find myseld wanting to see him have the success he should, and the division plus the injuries/thin team are impeding that, darn it.

their only decent wins were vs Kansas State and Tennessee ..both have fallen on hard times and are nowhere to be seen in the top 25

yes they have one less than LSU whose losses were all to ranked teams on the road while getting beat at home by LSU …Does head to head even matter to the committee

2025 four-star LB Keylan Moses is set to announce his decision tonight at University Lab's high school basketball game. The game starts at 6:15, I believe he's going to announce following the game. So it may be after 7:00 PM before he actually announces.

As far as chatter goes, there's not a whole lot of new info to report. I've had a futurecast pick in favor of LSU for at least a month now. I still feel like LSU's the pick. I feel pretty confident in that, should have a clearer picture later this afternoon. I'll say this, Keylan has kept things very tight lipped to not give anything away. He's got this whole "Shock the World" bit going on and I'm not really sure what to make of that because a U-High kid from Baton Rouge committing to LSU isn't exactly shocking the world.

I talked to his head coach Andy Martin last night and he told me that he told Keylan not to tell him until right before the announcement. He also told me that Keylan has given it a lot of thought and is very excited to make the announcement today.

Haven't heard much optimism around the other programs he's considering, especially this week, so I don't know about shock factor but I'm still holding strong on my futurecast to LSU.

If anything changes between now and when he announces his decision, I'll let you know.

Right-handed pitcher and infielder Brady Ebel announced his commitment to LSU on Thursday. The 6-foot-3, 190-pound junior bats lefty and plays the left side of the infield. He's ranked the second-best high schooler for the Class of 2025 by Baseball America.

Confirmed that the Texas A&M commit will be visiting LSU this weekend. He also told me that he will be talking with recently hired Mike Elko today as the Aggies look to keep him in their class.

The Johnny Unitas Golden Arm Award is given to the best quarterback in the country and is decided by the Johnny Unitas Golden Arm Selection Committee. This is the first of three quarterback awards to be handed out this season with the Manning and Davey O'Brien still to be awarded.

LSU running back Corren Norman intends to enter the transfer portal when it opens Dec. 4, he announced today on X. Norman didn't appear in a game this season. He had one rush in 2021 for seven yards before missing the 2022 season with an injury.

- Angel Reese is back, Kateri Poole is not, Sa'myah Smith has a torn acl and mcl. Cannot have surgery for about three weeks.

- Thinks Virginia tech is different that they had to replace two players. They have a big post presence. Does not think there is a shot they cannot make.

- Always says that timing is a part of life. Sad that Sa'Myah is out but the timing that angel is back helps

- Angel will play tomorrow.

- Angel playing with Aneesah Morrow a little more will take place but them being on the floor together might not be smooth but Aneesah Morrow is playing good basketball.

- She thought it was a gutsy performance in the Islands. Lots of freshman were in, wanted to find a way to get out of the game and thought a lot of them did things in the game that made them want to get out the game and go home. Missed three players that game.

- It's a boost having Angel Reese back. one of the best in the country. It's good she is back for Virginia but also for the rest of the season. Always have to flush what happened from Virginia last year. Flau'jae and Reese are the only ones really who are back from last years team against Virginia Tech.

- Del Rosario comes along way in practice and helps her as much as possible. She is a big post player for us. She thought her presence in the game was good. She has confidence right now and knows she will get more minutes.

- Had a conversation with Flau'jae Johnson yesterday that there used in high school it always is about how much they score. All around game is what you want to have. Her 15 rebounds, she had to go do that. Talking about growing her game in other areas and not just scoring the ball.

- Bottom of Hailey Van Lith's foot stretched too much but she will be back tomorrow.

- They will do some tag teaming tomorrow guarding and do the best they can.

- Based on what she has seen Angel will be like Angel and has been really good in practice.

- She learned in the islands and learned if there is a curveball, they can hit it. Really thinking about the beach and sometimes it's hard to focus. Doing it with unexpected experience and they had 4 kids that are guards who are playing the post.

- She thinks women's game has grown without national television. If it is streamed and some are on national television. She doesn't know if there is a day you cannot pull up a game and watch it.

- ACC SEC challenge was not picked by us. It will not be a polished product but we will play hard.

- Del Rosario is a bigger player like Aalyah Del Rossario and Sa'Myah Smith is more of a tall, faster player. Aalyah Del Rosario is more physical but both outstanding players when we signed them.

- Tries not to compare from last year's Virginia's team unless they have everybody back and they do not. You focus on how are you going to guard them. Watch film and evaluate them.

- She is a quiet young lady who is good. she understands she can get this year back and injuries back. Sa'myah will not be at practice feeling down but she will cheer them on the whole season.

- Morrow can score, Angel can score. They can rebound but they are not all we have. We have experience on the perimeter. We will be who we are. We have six kids who are doubling their stats.

- Did not know if she wins tomorrow she will have a total of 700 wins. She just has been blessed to coach and she was talked into getting into this business.
