LSU FOOTBALL Miss State …big game

It’s a bit early but IMO this Miss St game is a must win
LSU has opened as a 2.5 pt fav. ( LSU opened 2.5 fav. over FSU)

It’s a road contest . A win and LSU a has 5 straight games where they should be favored and a chance to win the West with Alabama looking vulnerable

However a stumble in Starkville where LSU a is a slim Fav .and things could get away in a hurray

  • Injury update: Mason Taylor is a game time decision, Omar Speights most likely will not play.
  • Thinks the offense can find some big plays on offense like last year.
  • Wants to see the edge rushers really set the edges in the run game because Mississippi State runs a lot of zone runs to the outside with Marks.
  • Wants to see the running game get going, but they're going to have to be patient with the run game. Can't force themselves to run it when they load the box and can't abandon the run game if they aren't finding too much success.
  • Reiterates they're going to go RB by committee. Whoever's hot will be feed a lot of touches that day.
  • Feels that despite only having one sack in two games, the pass rush has been playing well. Points out that Grambling was getting the ball out quick every play so it was almost impossible to get to their QB.
  • All the freshman tight ends are going to get some playing time this week with Mason Taylor not being 100%.
