LSU FOOTBALL LSU and FSU Rivals Crosstalk

Last night I had the privilege of representing Death Valley Insider in some Rivals crosstalk with The Osceola, Florida State's Rivals site. Patrick Burnham and Curt Weiler had me on to preview the season opener against the Seminoles in a segment they call "Nole Your Enemy." They threw ten questons at me to get to know the Tigers better. Had a good time representing this site. Take a look!

LSU FOOTBALL Five Questions with TheOsceola.com's Patrick Burnham

Our friends over at TheOsceola.com (our Rivals affiliate for Florida State) help us gear up for Sunday's big matchup between LSU and FSU in Orlando. Pat answers five questions on Florida State and the matchup with LSU.

Now taking questions for a weekly mailbag segment.

We will be launching a new weekly mailbag series where we'll answer questions from right here in The Quad.

Questions can be about anything just keep it clean and respectful. Questions about LSU sports, recruiting, or even fun questions are welcome.

In the future we'll use some of the questions for the feature and we'll pull some for the podcast we are working on launching as well.

So ask away. Planning on releasing the feature on Wednesday. So we'll probably take questions until Monday evening sometime.

LSU FOOTBALL 8/31 Notes from Brian Kelly's press conference

Brian Kelly had his final media availability ahead of this Sunday's matchup with FSU. Here are some quick notes from Thursday's press conference:

  • John Emery: In good standing with program. He won't be able to play until game three against Mississippi State.
  • Injury update: Armoni Goodwin (Hamstring) is out, Kimo is upgraded to probable.
  • As we expected, sounds like Denver Harris isn't in line to get a ton of playing time early on this season.
  • Coach Kelly said WR Brian Thomas has become much more mature and feels he's ready to take a step forward.
  • Feels the new DB room is in a better place than last year despite a bunch of new faces in the room.
