OFF TOPIC Sick

Hey, just wanted to let y'all know I woke up yesterday feeling pretty sick and it's really bad this morning, so I'm gonna take the day off to try to recover. There won't be any more content out today or tomorrow morning because of it, but hopefully I'll be feeling better tomorrow and I'll start getting some of the postgame stuff out like the PFF Insights. Sorry y'all.

LSU FOOTBALL 10/29 Brian Kelly Media Availability

  • Says A&M is pretty good against the run and a lot of their run game is based on winning individual matchups, and they lost a lot of them this weekend.
  • Thought they prepared to go into a hostile environment well. They started off great and tamed the crowd early.
  • Said they played well the first 52 plays, but the last 23 plays killed them. They've been on the other side of that against SC and Ole Miss, they didn't finish this game, though.
  • Says you don't run a defense expecting the No. 2 QB to come in and they prepared for Weigman much more than Reed, but they've prepared for that type of running QB offense in other weeks and in camp, they just didn't execute on Saturday.
  • Said there were a lot of people calling for Jayden's job in his first year here. Nuss knows that the QB takes all the responsibility and he comes from a QB family, so he's prepared for something like this. Kelly thinks he'll bounce back against Bama.
  • The snapper, holder and kicker need to work in unison for FGs to work. Said they've been working well together all season, and he doesn't know what happened on Saturday, they just weren't in sync. Says the kicker gets all the blame, but it was "the battery" that weren't working. Doesn't think they'll be making any changes at those positions.
  • Was asked if some teams just aren't "screen" teams, and he just said yes.
  • Dellinger had a high ankle sprain. Hopes he can recover this week and play vs Bama.
  • Alabama has great personnel and he thinks they're well coached. Says if his team is playing at their best, they can compete with anybody, and they're excited to get back out in Tiger Stadium.

LSU FOOTBALL Our recent great QBs also lost

at wTf their first game there as a starter. The JD led LSU Tigers lost by the exact same score 38-23. Both had Heisman seasons the following year. Hopefully history repeats itself. I really hate those bastard cult weirdos. Them playing Calling Baton Rouge at the end of the game was like a kick in the nuts. Payback will be a bitch for them next year.

LSU FOOTBALL Imo

A$M's Dbs got away with interferece at least half dozen times; I thought A$M's Dbs mugged LSU's receivers on several occasions not playing the ball. Elko coached with Saban ( I think) redirecting the receivers by the Dbs is a Saban favorite.

Offensive / Defensive Stats - Week 9 (Total defense improves...Yay!)

LSU's team stats after week 9.

As I mentioned in my initial post, take these stats for whatever they are worth. They still have to play the game. If you can believe it, there was improvement in Total Offense, Passing Offense, Total Defense, and Passing Defense.

Nuss improves from #7 in Passing yds/g to #4. He is also 8th in number of INTS thrown with 9.

Take all this for what it's worth but here are the current team stats.
