LSU has 25 commits with a 3.92 star average , Alabama has 20 commits with a 3.85 star average; LSU had 3 five stars , Alabama has 1 five star; LSU has 17 four stars, Alabama has 16 four stars. SMH. Guess which team's recruiting class is ranked higher. That's right Alabama. LOL, yea Rivals isn't biased. I would love to hear how Rivals explains this one. By the way , LSU has 2 top 10 players Alabama has one, (this one has just moved up 38 spots).

While most undrafted free agents go all out in the final preseason contest in their last bid to impress, Speights didn't even have to suit up for the Los Angeles Rams' game against the Houston Texans on Saturday. The LSU linebacker is safe from cuts and will be on the Week 1 gameday roster, general manager Les Snead said. The 6-1, 228-pounder was a summer standout, particularly with his work against the run.

It might be too early to say Speights could follow in the footsteps of Ivan Pace, a fellow undrafted free agent inside linebacker who started 11 games for the Minnesota Vikings as a rookie last season. Speights, however, is on the fast track to becoming a contributor and will have the chance to make his mark on special teams. And if the Rams end up dealing Ernest Jones – though the linebacker said Sunday he never requested a trade after reports emerged noting the team told him they were open to moving him – then Speights could be in line for substantial work on defense out of the gates.

Jay Johnson and LSU baseball dipped into the Houston Astros organization hiring Astros minor league strength and conditioning coordinator Chris Martin who will assume the role of strength and conditioning coach for LSU baseball, LSU head coach Jay Johnson announced on Wednesday.

“I am really excited to add Chris Martin as our LSU Baseball Strength Coach,” Johnson said. “Chris is exactly what we need here at LSU as we continue to develop future Major League players and championship teams in the weight room. Chris stands out in many ways, blending intelligence, a top-shelf work ethic, and he is elite at developing strength programs for players at the highest possible level.

“The Astros are one of the most progressive organizations in MLB regarding player development, and we are excited to tap into that by bringing Chris to Baton Rouge. Chris being our new strength coach is outstanding for our current and future players’ development.”

Some of you may know this but because he sort of flashed in I wasn’t real familiar with him, but he is considered a freak athlete. He has two state championships in track and second in a third event. He is the 53rd rank T&F guy in the country. Though a WR, he also squats 405#. He is also exceptionally agile with just over 7 seconds in the 3 cone drill which is something that will give DB nightmares. Add the fact he is
6’ 6”. IMO he will be an awesome weapon. LSU’s skill people are all about speed.

I know we have this discussion every year, but how is this a week zero game? I called myself looking at their schedules and didn't see Hawaii on either one.

Every year I limit myself to a handful of surgical bets and I do really well with that. Usually I can run down to the local sportsbook and place those bets, but this year I wanted to do something a little different. I'm trying to parlay three futures bets, specifically the over/under win totals of three cfb teams.

The sportsbook at the casino said they couldn't do it.
I joined Fanduel and can't find a mechanism to do it.
I joined DraftKings and couldn't find a mechanism to do it.
I joined a reddit community and made a post asking if there was somewhere I could do that, and it was promptly delete without any explanation.

For anything other than the most basic bets, the websites aren't exactly user-friendly and it's gotten pretty frustrating. Am I just wasting my time here? Is there no way to do something simple like this? The first game actually starts in about an hour so I'm about to just throw my hands up and quit. Any ideas?
