LSU FOOTBALL Jayden Daniels wins the Heisman Trophy

After one of the best individual seasons we've ever witnessed, Jayden Daniels takes home the Heisman Trophy.

Daniels posted 4,946 total yards and 50 total touchdowns en route to leading the No. 1 ranked offense in both scoring and total yards.

That kid is special, and now, he's immortalized in college football history.

RECRUITING Rankings meetings happening this week - Updates coming soon for 2024 & beyond

I posted this in another thread that featured a new offer to a currently unranked prospect for the class of 2025. But just wanted to give you guys a heads up for anyone that may not see that thread that we are currently going through rankings meetings this week and we should see some updates on the Rivals rankings for the 2024 and 2025 classes.

There's a couple of LSU prospects that I would expect to get some bumps and move up the rankings (some potentially getting an additional star) but no guarantees. I've submitted feedback on several prospects for the national team to review. We should start to see some of those changes in the coming weeks.

LSU BASKETBALL 12/10 WBB Post Game Presser Notes

Kim Mulkey
  • Did not like how the team started today. Felt ULL had a solid game plan that involved chewing the clock and playing a zone defense and it gave them fits early on.
  • Thought in the second half they were more aggressive. They played more like themselves and pounded the ball inside. Felt everything they did in the second half was completely different than the first half.
  • She's also been challenging Mikaylah because she has so much potential, and Williams responds really well to her coaching. She thinks she's capable of averaging a double-double or triple-double every night.
  • Says Aneesah plays with a chip on her shoulder. People didn't think she could do what she did at DePaul at LSU, but she's proving them wrong every game.
  • Van Lith has a foot injury. They want to rest her now before they get into SEC play. It's not as much of she can't play, than it is just making sure she's 100% when she's back.
  • Loves what she saw from Aalyah Del Rosario today. She played 16 minutes, but she scored seven points and hauled in eight rebounds.
  • Kateri Poole is no longer on the team and won't be back this season. Still thinks they have plenty of depth at the point guard position even with the loss of Poole.
  • Hopes they're building a product here. There are only three players from last season who are contributing this year, but despite that, they're still playing at a high level. Feels they've done a great job recruiting and bringing in portal players.
  • Says all of her point guards have different attributes. Poa has the most experience, Williams has the most physical talent, and Valez is the true point guard, but she's still learning the system.
Mikaylah Williams and Aneesah Morrow
  • Morrow felt they allowed ULL to control the tempo early, but they locked in during the second half.
  • Morrow says her goal every night is to get a double-double. Said she's been a double-double machine her whole career.
  • Williams says Angel and Aneesah are their "core" so getting the ball to them is important because it opens things up for them on the outside if the defense starts collapsing.
  • Say they love playing together. Morrow challenges Williams everyday because she knows she has so much more she can add to her game. Also says one of the things she challenges her to do is rebound, and Williams had more rebounds than Morrow tonight.
  • Coming off a ten day break, they wanted to start off fast, but they didn't. They got going on defense, and the offense eventually came so they feel they did a good job keeping the game manageable while they struggled scoring.
